... but 5 other half-marathons in the past couple of years w/no problems. Still, makes me want to stick to 10K trail races this summer.. :(

@davehogg now that I'm thinking about it, I do 11 - 12 mile training runs 20 times a year w/no problems. it must be the racing/harder effort -
@avantgame I knew you had posted long runs without sudden illness, which is why I was thinking about something unusual about those runs.

@avantgame It's not, which is why I was wondering about allergies. You seem much too healthy to be that trashed by a half-marathon. -
@davehogg well they say you are 6x as likely to get a cold after a half or full marathon.. but colds really hit me hard for some reason -
