@avantgame depends on the request of course but IMHO not replying to emails is rude if they are addressed directly to you.

@Pompeysie please feel free to answer my 100 emails a day from people I don't know :) -
@avantgame you only ever reply to mail from people you know? -
@Pompeysie at what volume of email would you stop replying to every person who requests some of your time? 10 requests a day? 20? 50? -
@avantgame but it depends on the request. To be fair I don't get 100 emails /day but I do get lots from my students. I can't ignore them! -
@Pompeysie totally different scenario.

@avantgame I've always told people that a quick NO is better than no response. Let's me move on & know what to send that way in the futureThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@avantgame Ignoring is definitely rude. If you have too many requests, maybe someone can help u set up a kind, automatic no-thank-you reply.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@avantgame Not every request deserves a response. Maybe make an FAQ w/a msg that not all msgs received will be answered. Or hire an agent ;)Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
