        @avantgame I wasn't aware of it until I started being more and more exhausted, and my wife got concerned with my gasping and snoring.

        @avantgame @davehogg The problem is it depends on the cause. They may need to lay on side/not back, may need to have a mouth guard, etc.

        @avantgame I don't know. I keep hearing people that had sleep studies say they don't know. If he doesn't share sleeping space may not know.

        @avantgame video from before my sleep test said that undiagnosed sleep apnea is probable cause of heart attacks & strokes in those under 40

        @avantgame Letting him know can't hurt. People w/ apnea aren't aware of gasping/waking. I had to be told by friends before I sought help.

        @avantgame The CPAP devices we use to treat apnea can't be used on planes because there's usually no power outlet.

        @avantgame I used to suffer greatly from sleep apnea before I lost a lot of weight. Trying to sleep on a plane was THE WORST. Like torture.
