YES! The most popular items in order of popularity were: snacks
(no surprise!), ibuprofen, throat lozenges ("SHOW ME WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!" etc. etc., lol), and sunscreen. I wasn't prepared for the heat wave, but I imagine that if I'd prepared water THAT would've been #1.
Also, interestingly, some of the warmest shows of appreciation were from people who didn't want or ask for anything. They just thought it was cool/funny/cute/nice, etc. I think maybe they got something else from it... 
Oh! And a few people asked if the stuff was free or if I was charging for them. That made me think that if I'd somehow made it more obvious on the sign that everything was FREE, maybe even more ppl would've asked for something. 
I thought it was a sad state of affairs that I showed the pic/tweet to some friends, and one's reaction was literally, "Figured out how to make a buck on these protests eh?"
I totally thought it would be obvious that everything was free. When a fighter or rogue comes staggering to the cleric in their party, bleeding their guts (or in this case, their hearts) out, the cleric doesn't go, "That'll be two gold pieces."
