great! what are you excited about this week? :)
-
Lots of stuff! Life is amazing. I've started lifting recently and hit a PB at the gym today. I'm also pretty excited about a resilience building game I'm making for kids with cystic fibrosis. E3's also about to pop off, so I'm gonna learn what I'm playing this year.
-
that's amazing all of it! I was just looking at the e3 lineup and it's amazing. the westworld panel and Grim Fandango live... I'm dying!! I'd love to hear more about the resilience building game.
-
Yeah, E3 looks super exciting. First one I've been excited for in a while. It's still just an early prototype, but the game is called "Puppy Island". You get to play with a small group of puppies. I've taken a lot of lessons from superbetter and a bunch of motivation theories.
-
awwwww!! i want to play PUppy Island
-
I'll try to keep you updated as it develops! I figure games for resilience would float your boat. What cool and exciting things are happening in your world? Any personal bests on the horizon? :)

Indeed us Aussies are here. Question - what’s the best new writing about games you’ve read this year? Anything stand out as fresh and exciting?
-
that essay on games a a universal basic income for the soul!https://reason.com/archives/2017/06/13/young-men-are-playing-video-ga …
-
That does look interesting! Do you listen to any games podcasts that go beyond the “what’s new this week” formula? Or any other culture podcasts you recommend?

Hi
@avantgame I can’t sleep so I thought I’d say hello. Any plans to come to San Diego in the near future? -
yes!! but probably for family fun rather than speaking... my girls are due for a trip to Legoland :D :D :D
-
That will be fun! I haven’t been since it opened. Hopefully you’ll be back for business at some point. Saw you speak at Activision when I worked there years ago. Loved what you had to say. Super interesting!
