if someone wants to get a little more technical: rich people were borrowing other people stocks and selling them hoping to re-buy them at a lower price later to return them. Reddit made stocks go boom, now rich people need to buy them back for much more money than they expected.

Me a autistic person explains what's happening on the stock market: "Normal" people are still investing in stupid or high risk stocks and I'm playing it safe and still make $200k in 12 years investing it in smart things.
