As the daddy to a little African American girl, this movie teaches her things outside my capacity. This is the girls knocked out after the movie. They loved it.pic.twitter.com/XyVexdUTTe

And btw @ava, her name is Ava (short for Yvonnia) too and she knows who you are
This is awesome Adam. It’s so easy for black girls to feel unimportant and diminished, so just the fact that you notice the important in this rocks.
Thank you Maddie. I’m not gonna lie, I choked up just about every 5 minutes watching her face, hearing her cheer when the badass women were saving #wakanda. It was an experience.
I’m also glad other black girls are getting to see it. It’s so amazing!
I’m truly overwhelmed by the change that this movie will bring to the youth!!! Art that changes us is art worth doing. #blackpanther
Exactly Queen. I smh when I hear people say
" it's JUST a movie" was birth of a nation (1915) just a movie? Art has power. #WakandaForever
Oooh! I like that. I’m gonna use that the next time someone says it’s just a movie. Thanks for that.
I'm with you, I'm totally thrilled. And I'm not a person of colour. I'm thinking: our time is finally up: history is moving in a new direction. And this is fine.
It's enough time space and energy for all of us to be represented...pic.twitter.com/cfdAk0cIRy
Absolutely. And about time.
My proudest moment so far this year has been donating money to kids overseas to go see this. Mad love from New Zealand.pic.twitter.com/IZy0iX5RfL
And I’ve just done it again
If anyone is thinking of doing it themselves there’s tonnes out there or swing by @brielarson twitter, she’s done heaps to connect donors and recipients and is still at it

Ava, on behalf of my grandfather, Jack Kirby, Black Panther co-creator, my mother, father and I feel the same way! We sat behind you at the Disney Awards, felt honored then as we feel so humbled and joyous now! Oh, what a moment! I wish my grandfather were here!
Just a few weeks until we congregate again for A Wrinkle In Time!!!! #RepresentationMatters
My 5yo asked me when I was going to take him to Wakanda. And he was brushing his teeth and yelling...I am King of Wakanda!
