If the tech industry were to have tech specific asks/requests of @LondonBreed / SF city government, what would they be?
( splitting those out from issues that affect everyone in SF and not specific to those who work in and around tech )

The way I see it, there are two issues with San Francisco: 1. General livability problems (my list above) 2. Open hostility to tech I think #2 is caused by #1, with tech as a scapegoat. If we solved the livability problems, we would solve the hostility problem.

I worry we might see tech leave because of #2 before #1 is sorted.

I share your worry. In particular, with officials like
@chesaboudin@MattHaneySF &@DeanPreston in office, our trajectory on issues related to mental health & criminality, our trajectory is continuing to head in the wrong direction.3 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -
Replying to @seanlinehan @sriramk and
I've been working since I got into office to fix our broken mental health system. We are absolutely headed in the wrong direction, the system is fundamentally broken, cycling people right back to the streets. Matt, you say you want to fix the OD death rates in supportive housing SROs but you can't intervene and neither can any social worker you want to give raises to. So who made this rule saying you can't intervene in drug addiction?https://twitter.com/auweia1/status/1304124588670898176 …
