Lucy Suchman, for sure. Evelyn Fox Keller, probably. It’s been 30 year since I’ve read her, so my memory is somewhat vague. Donna Haraway, similarly.

Ooh this is lovely! I will check them all out.

I didn’t know about “Places to Intervene in a System.” Looks very interesting; have bookmarked to read when I get a chance! Tx for the pointer!
-
I would love to hear what you think about it - it has been one of the biggest influences in how I go about framing the problems I attempt to solve, and actually it is what convinced me that writing could be a high leverage way to help the world!

I haven’t read enough of her stuff to have an opinion, but I wonder where Brené Brown might sit on the kegan scale
-
People have recommended her to me but her thesis seems really obvious. (Something like vulnerability = good). ELI5 what is cool and exciting about her work anyone?

“We confuse belonging with fitting in, but the truth is that belonging is just in our heart, and when we belong to ourselves and believe in ourselves above all else, we belong everywhere and nowhere.” Brene Brown interpreting metasystematicity :

This is definitely Kegan 101, but I liked Natali Morad's survey of Evolving Self / In Over Our Heads: https://medium.com/@NataliMorad/part-2-how-to-be-an-adult-kegans-theory-of-adult-development-ddf057b4517b …. Might be an interesting jump-off.
