When you were a teen, did you romanticize "normal adult things" like just... going to the store, or living on your own, or having a bar you like to go to with friends- things like that? Sometimes I try to frame my current mundane life things through that lens, to enjoy them more

I found a heartbreaking diary entry a few years ago where I fantasised about things like making a living as an artist, riding my bike everywhere, living with my friends and cooking them dinner. Those were some of the first things I prioritised putting in my life as an adult.
