#Metamodernism and the #Bahai Faith appear to have a lot in common in terms of vision for a thriving global society. There seems to be a lot of room for collaboration and knowledge sharing

Is there a good intro to the Baha'i vision for society?

I'd say just the official Baha'i website (http://www.bahai.org/ ). Full disclosure, I used to be a Baha'i. Metamodernism is definitely much more secular, but similar ideas around spiritual solutions to economic problems, global vision, political processes over platforms, etc

This is a link to a Baha'i inspired development organization, similar principles can be found in the activities of most Baha'i communities: http://www.fundaec.org/en/

One other similarity that I forgot to mention is the evolutionary nature of human and cultural/social development (Baha'i's call it "progressive revelation").

One more personal observation. Most Bahai’s I know, especially millennial urban Baha’i’s, appear to have many similar personality characteristics as self identified metamoderns, except they’re much more diverse in terms of race and gender (hopefully metamoderns catch up!)

Ooh, that's interesting! I'm finding more women on the metarational side of rationality, but I unfortunately can't say it's at all racially or culturally diverse (yet! I maintain that there are metamodern pockets we haven't discovered in other places!).

Absolutely! I meant *self identified* ‘metamoderns’ don’t seem so diverse. But yes, I’m sure the vast majority of meta-rational people (from many intersections of society and of different characters of meta-rational) haven’t identified as such. I look forward to finding them!

And
@reasonisfun ! She's coming at the metarationality-type area from a different branch of rationality than the Bayesian folks.0 replies 0 retweets 3 likesThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
