Do you have speed problems with Docker containers on macOS? There was a big issue last summer related to a filesystem consistency synchronization between macOS host and Linux-based Docker containers. Had the latest generation MBP with 16 GB RAM & fast CPU, but it was too slow...

It's probably because you used the default docker filesystem mount. There are better ones, like ntfs. Docker's "Docker for Mac" has greatly improved, though.
