This is clearly a form email and it's an absolute comedy imagining this being read and edited by dozens if not hundreds of staff members, each of them agreeing that this was the best argument for the situation.
"Oh, you've been depending on or utilizing this income? It was basically a bonus! That's your fault for getting accustomed to it."
