Interview with Jeremy Corbyn. Worth a listen. Zero responsibility, blames everyone else for his defeats. borderline delusional. Embarrassing.

So if they both muster knights and archers in their respective dukedoms then advance at similar speeds, the battle will take place somewhere on the northern fringe of London, maybe in car park at the Waltham Cross Homebase

Disappointing. I liked it, though it wasn’t as compelling as ‘Dark’. It built too slowly, took a big narrative risk that didn’t pay off, imho, and was probably too convoluted for most people. That said, the ending was intriguing and I’d have liked to see more.

Decided to let my mind wander at the gym earlier. Got on the cross trainer, closed my eyes, listening to Steampunk Ambiences playlist on Spotify. 10 mins later made notes on a new novel idea*. *(“not another one! Finish your WIP first!” 🤪🤣)

Having played #DnD for over 40 years (#foreverDM) I do *not* understand the nostalgia for 1e, and especially not Basic/Expert. Are you nuts? I get the arguments for them, I just don’t miss them. I’d take 5e over either 1e iteration and 3.5e over any other version.

Avatar 2 - visually astonishing, superbly detailed, great story discipline, never feels too long. Also totally predictable, lacking in nuance and character complexity. Has literally nothing interesting or new to say about anything.

Another great interview from the duo. Confession: I *also* listen to Taylor Swift, tho not while I’m writing. But maybe I’ll give it a go!

Chart brings home my time in NHS. I started with long waiting lists in the 1980's - 18 months for hip. Then Thatcher night of the long knives where staff were cut. Then Blair/Brown. Those were amazing years - I did not believe we could get those waiting lists down but we did! 1/3
