My debut column in @washingtonpost where I speak of #BlackPanther (it just crossed $1 bn in revenue), and what India & Africa can learn from the global blockbuster. Great piece. I especially loved this line: "Africa and India would do well to remember the ways of their ancestors, approach each other with liberalism and respect, and build a new future."

It’s one of the greatest empire Africa has ever known. It spread accros the Niger River.

Thanks, Niger river? Is word Nigro derived from it? I think.

There are many of an Indian Diaspora living and thriving in many parts of Africa and this should be the basis of a mutually respectful relationship between India & Africa.Treat each other as human beings and all will be week! ☺

...that means should I write an article, 'Black Panther' would switch places with 'India'. I can't even begin to tell you how Asia saved me from mediocrity. I ended writing a two-part campus novel.pic.twitter.com/5dY1KT0J3z

The column was very well written and 'if you hate someone more than you love yourself, there is no hope for you.' is the best line i heard so far. Thx for sharing your work sir.

Quite an interesting point of view! Would be great if Indians could remember this the next time they act racist towards Africans

Not bad but you brushed the fact that Indians are racists towards African in India even though some Indians are darker than Africans. Also colorism in India is worse than in Hollywood. The lighter you are the better your opportunities get.

I think #BlackPanther is the greatest marvel movie where you can learn what a real king is like who waits for the right opportunity for his win. Just loved the truly inspiring movie💟💟
