This savvy lass deserves a louder voice in media - makes too much sense I’m guessing?!

Here here Jacinta. History is what it is and no matter what we do with the date history will not change. It is the future and how we respect and honour the land and its original owners that deserves greater focus. What we do differently moving forward is more important.

Awful choice of month by Labor. Try having fireworks, a flag raising ceremony, or a barbecue when its windy and raining.

January 26 is the rum rebellion anniversary. The successful Armed takeover of the Australian Government.

To me, the way forward for the First People is through opportunity, health, housing, a life - and not, renaming entities, land rights, treaties, and the other warm and fuzzy irrelavancies. Go Jacinta.

As Empire Day is in May, we can align Empire Day and Australia Day so we really celebrate the Imperialism of Australia by the British. Instead of changing the date, change the meaning and celebration. People need to get real about the future, leave the past in the grave.
