The usual "them and us" "chip on the shoulder" political approach intended to play on the paranoia of Labor grass roots voters, while cynically enjoying their large salary boosted beginning of every year and many sending their kids to private schools.

Murdochs campaign of lies and fear continues. We need to boot Newscorpse right out of Oz.

Yep punish the successful for the benefit of unsuccessful, how long does that last until no one try’s to be successful ? I have personally seen people turn down promotions to avoid moving up tax brackets and loose benefits

Once again the Murdoch press peddle a lie. They won't be worse off than they are under current tax rules.

Crazy. Penalty rates were right to go south; if workers want more pay then they should be getting better quality jobs-no one should squirm when they can't buy a house as a waiter.

Australia excels at punishing success , if you did well with your career and worked hard you should give some of your earnings to me , no one who did well in life thinks this way

95K a year is plenty of money the majority of workers earn less then that if you make more then that you can afford to pay more tax

As the higher income brackets are targeted you’ll find the middle and lower middle will be the real payers. I look at this and think I’ll expand my tax breaks.
