$30 million? What was #compensation paid for the original riot? destruction of the police accommodation, arson of property, damage, the threats of Lex Watton armed with the shovel...? Whole thing is stuffed up! #PalmIsland #Queensland where the gumbies run the show! $75,000 each?

Did Hurley go through a trial, same as Lex Wotton? There are some on Palm Island entitled to compensation. WHY is the whole population to receive $75,000? Therein lies the #racist payment. Ever been around a community on pay night? Seen the violence of some? Tinted glasses maybe?

So only established fact is that public property was destroyed & those who did it get compo? Insinuations that police were wrong let Trad do a bit of taxpayer funded virtue signalling.

Oh and what about the small fact that someone died in custody?. Check the judgement before you spew your ill informed outrage.

Nevertheless, a riot leader still takes share in 30 million payout?! Can you deny that? Do you find that right?

The police instigated the violence by because the police beat to death an Aboriginal man, lied & was not charged for murder, as they should have. ‘Heavy handed’? FFS, the police did actually murder someone without legal consequences as normal people are when they kill someone.
