So many more important issues in Australia at the moment than whether a dead soldier gets a higher rank.

If you don't agree with an idea then state why; overtherism is an insipid copout, we can walk and chew gum.

I did state why. There's more important issues to spend time and money on. It's hardly important to Monash whether he is promoted or not. He's dead. What's the point? And I disagree, I don't think our governm't can walk & chew gum at the same time. They can barely do either.

Unless some toxic masculinity hating feminist leftie warrior uncovers that he once wolf whistled at a female .... then he’s gone.

How we ignore Victoria Cross recipients as “greatest soldiers” surely is a matter of concern - at least to me. Lets get some perspective into the argument. Spend an hour or two in the “Hall of Valour” Aust War Memorial and get back to me.

@cooktragic We all know that John Monash would be against such a false,. fake move. He did not fight to elevate his rank, he fought for Australia.

I would disagree on the grounds this is historical revisionism. No better than Yagan being called a freedom fighter, when he was actually a murderer.
