What utter Nonsense! How come Australian MPs are concerned about rich South Africans(White and rich) and are Not concerned about Boat people and Syrians(Non white and destitute), Is this hypocrital and opportunistic?

@94_bastard, there were at least 2 demonstrative marches in Aus major cities in support of white farmers. -
Well look the reality of things is more complex than anyone of us can grasp, again this is a South African Problem, it's up to the people and the SA goverment to take care of. If Australians wish to help people in need they should go help the Rohingya people who are slaughtered
-
It’s fair to suggest other countries are worse off, but it’s selfish and denies people’s free will to support causes they believe in. If the Rohingyans get the help they need, will it then be ok to help in SA, or will more disenfranchised groups be suggested again?
-
Ok you got me there, it's true, but I just think it's too early to require international intervention for something that has not been finalized yet
-
I’ll hang back and observe in the meantime, but I think it’s better to address issues in their infancy, rather than letting them metastasise.
