Is that the battlers that live in $2mil homes of or the pensioners that the libs stole from in the last budget? I’m pretty sure the age of entitlement is over, or was that only for the poor and needy?

LOL. I completely understand now the objection "#TheAustralian has to Emma Alberici. "When it comes to economics. There's simply no one there that has any idea of what it is. Let alone how it works".

Shoten' s doing a great job in opposition. He's found $8 billion in savings from just two pieces of policy change.

Reason why both parties are all over the place is because there is no long term strategy. They attack one group to fund tax cuts or goodies for next election. There is no strong leadership because the nation is split 50-50.

Nothing wrong with Turnbull because has no strong support. This is where Australia is at, like the Chinese proverb, Half Pass Six i.e neither here nor there. Hawke Keating Howard had stronger support, they did well. But now the country is split, the results are pretty stark .

Where r those wonderful reforms mentality we once had?. What are we doing on new Robotics industries,? battery powered cars, ? solar powered tools? Govts leave it to private sector, yet slapped fees, rules, bureaucratic brakes on them Australia will failed if the same continue.

Robbing Paul to pay Peter is bad economics. Revenue must be raised with new income coming from innovation and a strong export manufacturing and service culture. Keating used to have Aust Trade which did wonders for wine export. No incentives or vision exists now.

sounds fair enough if you earn you pay tax http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-14/analysis-labor-plan-for-franking-credits-reignites-debate/9547006?section=politics … But nobody would have to pay tax if the government created the money instead of private central banks.. TAXATION IS THEFT, this is nothing more than re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic

Did you comment that these people also lost out when the libs dropped the company tax rate, thereby decreasing the imputation rate ?
