With a bachelor of arts and a major in Italian, is the ABC’s Emma Alberici really the voice of economic reason, asks Chris Mitchell?http://bit.ly/2GIeQoG

And your readership is diminishing fast. I couldn’t take any more some time ago and cancelled my subscription. I still get phone calls begging me to resubscribe - at a much cheaper rate. Your cheap shots at genuine journalists have totally ruled that out!!

Let me get this straight. Emma can’t write analysis of economics policy if she has an Arts degree, but Chris can write about any topic he likes, including economics, without any degree? Presumably being a middle aged, wealthy white man gives him knowledge of EVERYTHING.

About 10 male economists have published exactly the same points about the effects of company tax cuts as Alberici, including three at the ABC, but no complaints. Sexism in play here? #auspol

Let’s call it: This is all about yr business & businesses which you rely on benefitting from tax cuts - & undermining your ABC competitor. There is no evidence to support claims made by Govt for tax cuts. Albrrice’s articles recognised as factual by independent economists #auspol

The australian doesn't employ journalists. They have typists like Rupert Mitchell. They dream of having someone as competent as @albericie on their staff but she appears to have ethics, something Murdoch typists don't.

Bloated, white, privileged middle-aged men threatened by a smart, strong, well researched and brilliantly female journalist so have to attack her - too gutless to take on her ideas. Time to get some diversity in all boardrooms and cabinets across this country.

Nice one Simone. Certainly no offense taken. And I’ll break down & admit to 5 of your 6. The comparative scores can wait, they don’t mean much. But the RWFWs who score 1; max 2 out of your 6, these are the sad sacks; the dinosaurs; the dills; the desperados. A pox on them.......
