Your religious beliefs do not mean you get to damage someone else's genitalia.

A valid argument friend. There are those times when medical and hygiene issues require this procedure plus it’s not only religion that does this. Parents make the choice.

Circumcision is never medically necessary unless you believe masturbation causes blindness, insanity, and syphilis like the initial reason in the 19th century that brought the practice back to prominence. As far as hygiene goes, it is also unnecessary for that purpose too.

Infant circumcision should be banned in Australia too, with justice given to the victims of it.

So expect the rise of male cancer penis, urinary tract infections, emergency circumcisions for older males ... there are MEDICAL reasons for circumcision ... including HIV risk http://www.irinnews.org/fr/node/242180  ; http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-09-17/oneil-the-circumcision-wars/4264406 … ; https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20608349  ; https://www.circinfo.org/Circumcision_and_sand.html …

Scaremongering crap put out by people standing benefitting from circumcisions. Elementary hygiene takes care of several problems. For the rest, there are condoms. The prophylaxis argument is like saying that cataract surgery in childhood is prophylactic.

So these stats where #Iceland has LOWEST male circumcision but HIGHEST STD rate are made up ... they AREN'T even about male circumcision ... https://www.drfelix.co.uk/blog/std-comparison-across-europe/ … and Iceland has a RAPIDLY rising incidence of STDs https://ecdc.europa.eu/sites/portal/files/media/en/publications/Publications/201206-Sexually-Transmitted-Infections-Europe-2010.pdf … Page 22. Those who choose ignorance ...

“If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out ...”(Matthew 18:9). Is this what you support? If Iceland has high STD rates, then the people should be encouraged to practice hygienic sex, use condoms etc. MGM is a completely ridiculous ‘solution’.

What do you mean? Men can still elect to mutilate themselves as adults.

So they call it a snip? Nice euphemism for genital mutilation.

But we will allow hormone blockers to be administered to pre-pubescent children. Something is amiss.
