The ABC costs Australians four cents a dayhttps://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/media/broadcast/abc-annual-public-meeting-guthrie-milne-to-take-hard-questions/news-story/ceec8c5520355a988c6c9dfdb91a381b …

Not worth it....paying 4 cents for a leftist, biased, PC, feminist, white guilt media outlet is too much. But I'm guessing that's why they have predominantly women on the channel.....with budget cuts, inexperienced, unqualified women are all they can afford to hire.

I’d rather pay 4cents a day for our ABC than the trash we’re force fed on the other commercial channels! #auspol

breaking it down to cents per person is misleading, the important thing is that would be about 1 million dollars per day, how can we best spend that as a country and should a company getting 1m per day of taxes be allowed to be so far left and bias?

I would be all for giving the ABC more money if they simply had a balance of left and right journalists & programs, the public broadcaster should not be a propaganda outlet for one side & view point.

Well technically it would be 5 cents because of rounding

Rounding? Rounding only occurs when paying cash and individuals don't pay the ABC daily to invoke said rounding

We could of payed back in old days with two 2 cent coins, but nowadays the smallest payment you can make with cash is 5 cents. thats why everything costs more these days

Four cents per citizen per day is a lot for a taxpayer funded public broadcaster. The ABC and SBS is biased in favour of left-wing politics that is catered to the demographics of inner city labor and greens. There is hardly balance on their panel of journalists and commentators.

Didn't Chris kenny show it to be closer to 14cents? Commercial media exists to make a profit for stake holders (all our super funds) National tax funded media exists to inform, educate and entertain without political bias or influence I.e. ABC is obliged to be truthful.
