NBN was always a dud idea......digging up all of Australia to lay wires...give me a break...wireless easily upgraded or repaired or expanded, able to be used when you leave the house! Rudd and co should be in jail not in cushy jobs at the UN and Beyond Blue and a pension...

What are you basing that on? You are aware that the current capability of fibre, conveniently left off that diagram, makes 100Mbps look glacial? Not to mention the contention on cellular networks.
-
Mum and dads in the streets being dug up across the country don't need 100mps or the hyper speeds that makes 100mps glacial....$60-$70,000,000,000 is a criminal waste of money...can't use it once you move 10m from your home and have to have another system and plan....old thinking

It speaks to your point about the ease of upgrade. Increasing speed on fibre once it’s laid is trivial. The tech for 100Gbps is already used in data centres. Cellular networks are massively expensive to upgrade and even in the lab top speed is 2Gbps.
