First Craig MacLachan , now KRudd. Of course it won't be the ABC paying for any settlements.....that's ME & YOU,the taxpayer! High time we flogged off this disgraceful biased network to private enterprise. Let them suffer these fools that run our so called national broadcaster.

Kdudd owes to the families of the people that died to come clean with what he knew. So Kdudd is blaming everyone but himself. Classy.

Good on him, There was safety regulations and Codes of conduct in place for installing insulation. The blame lies with the greedy insulation company's trying to make as much money as they can over the safety of there worker.

Actually Paul the so called safety regs ect are not correct. Installers needed a white card only after the program started. There was no licensing requirements at all. There is a lot more to this than blaming an insulation company.

I would have thought WHS regulations relating to employer duty of care would apply regardless of any other requirements?

I agree but there was no code of practice for the industry. The introduced reactionary measures after accidents. I took part in parliamentary discussions at the time and pollies took no notice of industry concerns or recommendations.
