Yeah, just as, according to you, a royal commission would do nothing for institutional pedophilia. You were utterly wrong then, Paul. And you're utterly wrong now.

is this the same Paul Kelly who wrote a lengthy rant about why the Royal Commission into Child Sexual abuse shouldn't happen? This dude lacks good judgement, so he really has no credibility, at all.

Yeah too right Paul. Let’s keep it shut down for a holiday and piss up. BTW what exactly are we celebrating on Aussie Day? Values? (Please define) liberation? (not for all) end of war? (The beginning for some). What are we celebrating?

Same dude who said RC into institutional child abuse was an overreach. 🤔 You can’t stop progress. The day a penal colony was established in NSW is hardly Australia Day.

Give it away Paul Kelly - well past your use by date - by the way are you happy with Royal Commission on sexual abuse - pity it unveiled so much abuse in the church - which you wanted hidden

Does kelly have any decent morals and erhics? Nope. No understanding of this issue & many others. Didnt even support RC into child sexual abuse. Shameful.

Don’t like Murdoch lackys but I think Kelly’s writing has merit. However, this Is not a Green movement -respect please- it is a grassroots movement commencing in the 1930s and spearheading in the 21st century . How we all need inclusion and recognition of a rich mixed ancestry

@cooktragic Know our history! Many more Aborigines in Oz now than in 1788. Many aboriginal celebrities. Two French ships in B.Bay on 25th Jan is why Gov. Philip hurried to raise flag. Next year 1789 = French Revolution. Oz had lucky escape not day of shame, near starvation

No solid evidence that France intended to claim Australia, La Perouse had been here for weeks before the First Fleet arrived and never claimed anything. Was a scientific expedition.

and his claim about population levels is a complete nonsense. Even if true in absolute numbers

Yes, correct. World's population was less than 1 billion in 1788 and over 7 billion now. Numbers don't correlate.
