Some kids are not suited to academia. Parents' vicarious drive to have their children to go to university, even if it is to study something for which there is no actual job at the end, is often misdirected. The world will always need plumbers.

I think you need to undergo some training to become a plumber. Leaving school at grade 10 won't make a plumber.
