In my understanding, there was an official apology is early as 2008 https://www.australia.gov.au/about-australia/our-country/our-people/apology-to-australias-indigenous-peoples … I can’t for the life of me understand why the “Invasion Day” protests still occur annually if reconciliation efforts have been made.
