A few dozen teenagers who happen to have black skin does not outweigh the daily reality of millions of Australians of diverse backgrounds living and working in mutual peace and respect.

LOL. Come on bloke, you mustn’t know any cops, only read what’s on the ALP/Greens Home page or live in space! The migration issue is tens of thousands big, not a couple dozen.

The tough migration rules of the 50’s through to the 70’s worked. However, once we relaxed those rules the writing was on the wall for this Country to go the path it has now.

Multiculturalism is not a bunch of races living together pretending no differences exist. It is an organically achieved confluence of different cultures & societies coming together; living loving quarreling at the same time, while recognizing similarities & differences in unison.

That is very idealistic and India is a very unique country but as with India the Muslims are usually the ones creating problems, if you are Muslim you too are unique in your attitude, if you are Hindu you will understand

Yes Muslims are a problem wherever they are. I'm just talking about what really is "multicultural". The west seems to mistake multiculturalism for an achievement. This is why they put it on a pedestal. It's new to then you see? Multiculturalism is just a state of being.

Really well said and put in context. You are quite right our Govts do think multiculturalism is an achievement, but the idealism is not achievable

Speaking of it, India was more multicultural & mingling before the British and even while the British were looting it. For example during the rule of Shivaji, you'd have Telugus, Kannadas, Hindis equally loving him as Marathis & all lived in the same Maratha empire.

Labor/greens believe throwing all races together in the community is beneficial?? Even prisons segregate races for their own safety.

Opinion:Multiculturalism only exists in Labor/Greens minds. It’s never worked anywhere in the world. Just a name given by criminal ex Labor mp Al Grassby

Douglas Murray’s The Strange Death of Europe is pretty much a wrap on the failures of multiculturalism.

What an excellent partisan screed appealing to the xenophobic fears of your (ever shrinking) white, conservative voting bed wetting audience.
