Translation: Billionaires (including Simon Holmes A Court) will join a queue to harvest the forthcoming bounty of @AustralianLabor tax breaks and subsidies for renewables and drink @billshortenmp's bubbly. Il denaro pubblico è come l'acqua benedetta. Ognuno stessi aiuta ad esso.

He's a millionaire. He can afford to pay exorbitant electricity prices as more and more of these renewables are connected to the grid. Solar still can't store power and still cannot provide baseload energy, as Germany found out.

I was shocked when I first saw this guys statements in that how can u be in tech and not do the basic calculations on solar to see how destructive and backwards it is.. and of course the answer is to make money. Just another selfish jerk.

Quintessential example of what an industry-destroying, poverty-inducing, self-indulgence for wealthy corporate cronies this entire scam is.

Come on @AngusTaylorMP get rid of those subsidies and everything #climatechange and let the energy market sort out what is reliable, available and priced competitively. Don’t line the pockets of uninformed billionaires. #golbalwarming #fraud.

Why are we allowing companies and millionaires who have invested in renewables dictate our energy policy. Seriously people Wake Up. This is not about the planet it's about the bottom dollar and the people who invested in an industry which has been proven to be impotent.

Quantify heavily, relative to his overall wealth. I’m confident it is but a mere pittance of his net worth. His investment in @brighteAU isn’t an investment in solar - but would definitely benefit from any investment (Gov’ or private) made in solar technology and infrastructure.

Molten salt thermal energy storage technology is the most efficient, reliable and cost-effective way to store solar power at large scale. Storage enables solar thermal power plants to operate just like a conventional fossil fuel or nuclear power plant,
