The guy thought he was being chased by people with spears. Thats more than "alleged mental health issues".

The fact he tried to travel to Syria 3 years ago and his brother wanted to blow up federation square on new years eve are just unlucky coincidences.

No he was a Jihadist.... but also crazy. It's more than "alleged". He was also a practicing drug user, not "past substance abuse". Poor journalism.

@ScottMorrisonMP is primarily concerned that the Bourke St attacker’s mental health and substance abuse issues doesn’t fit his narrative. Much easier to claw back some of that gaping poll deficit with scary Muslims, than policies dealing with mental health and substance abuse.

No use shouting once the deed is done. Rights to stay in Australia need to be matched by rights of Australians to be safe. They got this one wrong.

Yes very true, and we're seeing extreme Muslim terrorist families use it now every time. Which, according to their own beliefs, makes them blasphemers against their own prophet Muhammad and the Quranic teachings. Where is the Muslim outcry of being offended by the terrorists???

Nobody owes anyone a collective apology, that shit ain't washing anymore. Fact is, this type of violence doesn't discriminate, everyone is vulnerable including any Muslim walking down the street minding his own business

Wrong. Muslims identify Muslims and leave them alone, unless it is an attack on another class of Muslim, such as is the case in Muslim majority countries.

Nice try at changing my words with your collective apology rubbish. Fact is, Muslims claim to be offended by any so called blasphemy against their prophet. So claiming mental illness when following the instructions of their prophet is the same as claiming theirprophet mentallyill
