Scott Morrison has been labelled ignorant and “politically desperate” for calling "radical, violent, extremist Islam" the greatest threat to Australia’s national security.https://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/bourke-street-attack-scott-morrison-slammed-for-islam-remarks/news-story/ba44bbfaffc6d9cf9662547308f8740d …

The greatest threat to Australia is being too PC and not having the balls to turn away or get rid of people who are a threat.

The IRA aren’t a clear and present danger to anyone. The Indian communists are definitely a concern, albeit a very localised one. FARC don’t exist anymore and were confined to Colombia. The rest are Islamic extremists. Even globally it’s hard to find a bigger threat, isn’t it.

•Hon @ScottMorrisonMP, your insinuation that the “greatest threat to our way of life is radical, violent, extremist Islam” is a completely distorted, irresponsible and misleading point of view. THREAD #Melbourne #BourkeStreet @SkyNewsAust pic.twitter.com/B7yPUDQZ2n

If USA had Westminster system Hillary would have won, she got 3 million more votes, in Australia the party that gets 3 million more votes wins, hilarious people don't understand the difference between Australian and USA electoral systems

You don’t change the rules after the game was played. Trump and Hilary knew them before the vote, anything else is just could’ve would’ve should’ve.

I think realistically though while polls aren't always totally accurate, the LNP are pretty on the nose at the moment with even a lot of fairly rusted on voters being unimpressed.

Yeah the polls show exactly that, polls are accurate with enough done different ways over long enough period and that's what we are seeing, the coalition will be wiped out state and federal until the conservatives die out and it comes back as a moderate party in a decade

I think it was the chopping and changing that did it. Same as Labor a few years ago. The current LNP 'brand' is just a bit toxic right now. I'll be pretty surprised if they win the next election.

Who’s label? - you as the journalist, your editor, Islamic sympathisers, the African community or the Islamic clerics. Suspect the label most probably assigned by people who are in denial of the problem, or who have a dislike for Christianity as upheld by the PM
