Now that the backlog is cleared, we'll be reviewing applications much more quickly! So as long as you meet the eligibility and program thresholds, you can expect to hear back in a month or so. Note: All applications are still manually reviewed, so it does take a bit of time.

Is there a way to submit comments for consideration as part of the review? I was monetized before the rules change in Feb but was rejected for monetization after meeting the 1,000 subscriber threshold. The reason for the decision was duplication but I have unique VIDEO content.

If your channel is out of compliance due to duplication, this typically means that the content is not original or is auto-generated. The Creator Support team may be able to share more with you, chat/email them here: https://goo.gl/MidyGJ

I'm not currently eligible for email support (I was previously). Are there any other options?

Thanks for trying it out. Could you please share your channel URL so that we can take a look? Thanks.

http://YouTube.com/vokrox . The audio is in the public domain and the video content is 100% original. I created the animations and titles and rendered all the video myself. I sort all videos by series and create unique playlist so that it is easy for people to listen in order 1/2

The continued monetization would support the uploading of more videos, creation of new playlists, and eventually curated videos like “Top 10 Radio Programs That Became Movies” etc. Getting a library of content on the channel is just the first step in the process. 2/2

One final thing, I also plan to create original “Behind the Mic” videos that explore the history behind famous broadcasts like the Orson Wells War of the Worlds broadcast etc. All those videos would link to the original broadcasts that I would have uploaded to my channel.
