After over 4 hours, my vote has been counted. I hope the Secretary of State and Spalding County’s Election Board find some sort of solution for these wait times, for they are unsustainable.pic.twitter.com/OlFnHkq7RU

It took Four hours and three minutes to vote. Arrived at 10:10am. The lovely poll works weren’t slow and the voting system itself was very quick so I guess that it was the volume of voters. That site is usually a 30min wait.

The problem lies in the lack of machines and the inability of the Board to find a location that allows for waiting indoors, enough space for more than 6 machines and 1 ballot counter. The staff was doing the best they could. It’s the government’s job to help them do better.
