We can't speak for every festival, but AFF is a non-profit organization and all of our funds, including your entry fee, are used to open up opportunities for screenwriters and filmmakers every year. That said, we are always looking to improve and value your feedback!
We do believe that we are worth the cost of entry as you can see in the article below, but we also understand the financial struggles that people have when they're doing their festival runs.
