Any suggestions on film festivals who aren't fussy about shorts having already premiered online?

Thanks for following up. Do you offer screening fee's for short filmmakers that you screen?
Hi Sophy, Unfortunately, our Film Festival is unique in the sense that we never invite films into our competition or cover screening fees. We want a fair competition in the truest sense and so, we require that all competition films to be entered in the same way.

I understand, but are the filmmakers that ARE accepted & screened to a paying audience offered a fee? I understand it is difficult and uncommon, but just trying to get a handle on why it doesn't seem to be a priority for many festivals.

We can't speak for every festival, but AFF is a non-profit organization and all of our funds, including your entry fee, are used to open up opportunities for screenwriters and filmmakers every year. That said, we are always looking to improve and value your feedback!
