@Locky75New yeh, they would’ve been 512K each (or less) to fit on a 1.44MB floppy.
@ausretrogamer Maybe my memory is wrong, were they even less than 4mb? Remember only being able to fit 1 of the bigger games on each disc.
@Locky75New they would’ve been 512KB to 1MB max, so they crammed a lot of magic in them games :-)
@ausretrogamer Mine could even copy Super FX chip games. I had Star Fox 2 but it felt a little unfinished & rough but it was cool having it.
@Locky75New haha, you pirate ;-)
@ausretrogamer That's what blows me away most about these games. How they managed to cram a game of that quality onto such a small cart is
@Locky75New absolutely
@ausretrogamer mind blowing to me. Can you imagine the problems they must've had optimising these games to fit onto virtually nothing
@Locky75New they were super talented coders :-)
@ausretrogamer Well nothing nowadays anyway back then they probably thought 512KB was massive
@ausretrogamer Says the guy who's just invested in the ultimate piracy peripheral
but yup still got my eye patch, parrot & wooden leg
