@ausretrogamer what quality image do you get and how does it hook up to the Tele?
@ultimablackmage hooks up to a VGA monitor (but it also has composite & S-Video).
@ausretrogamer so it's only worth it if I want to hook it up via S Video to my TV then? I wish I could hook it up via component though.
@ultimablackmage you could. But if you wanna hook up to normal TV, I’d stay with the RCA’s that the DC came with.
@ausretrogamer I wanted to hook it up to my HDTV since my old CRT will randomly shut off for like a second... in the middle of a jump!
@ultimablackmage What connections does your HDTV have? Apart from HDMI, it should have composite, RCA and possibly VGA??
@ausretrogamer it has the analog inputs and HD inputs as well as the PC monitor port. What'd give the best picture for the DC?
@ultimablackmage oh yeh, the PC (VGA) monitor port for sure! The scanlines it produces are sublime.
@ausretrogamer ok I'll have to see if my local Gametraders can get me one & if not then I'll have to eBay it.
@ultimablackmage The Retro-Bit one I got was $39 (free shipping) from eBay. The average price for one of these is around $70.
