ABC journos squeal like stuck pigs over a pause in the growth of their $1bn+ budget. This is a taxpayer-funded organisation that pays Media Watch‘s Paul Barry about $200,000 a year to host a 13-minute TV show with 8 other FT staff, says @chriskkennyhttps://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/inquirer/theres-little-point-in-debate-when-the-left-is-always-right/news-story/f52f603af46a5ffb06549edf629b0bfc …

I can’t wait to read what a media personality has to say about another media personality’s wages ( said no one ever)

ABC Australia - I stopped listening to ABC radio and watching ABC TV , regularly ,10 or 15 years ago , when it stopped reporting news and instead proffered opinion , substituting that for news.

Paul Barry - When NEWSCORP employees complain about the ABC you know your doing a good job because you show up the blatant untruths from their various shows & print media.

So Paul Barry earns more than Chris Kenny, has far more gravitas, is far better respected among his peers than Kenny, works for an organisation far better respected than any Kenny works for... small wonder poor Chris is so annoyed.

#theirABC waste is out of control. What mgt control us being exercised here. Completely lost its way luxuriating in its own bloated public service safety bubble sucking off the taxpayer complaining as though they’re essential. @SenatorFifield what are you doing about this?

Assuming, of course, they don't also provide (up to 4 weeks) overseas "research" and/or "prestige" ($150k) vehicle lease - charged as "ongoing production costs"?
