This shooting had nothing to do with open carry. The shooter had a gun illegally. He had been dishonorably discharged from the military.

He could have mowed them down with his car....ban cars
-
1) Cars offer a primary purpose that justifies possessing them. What exactly is that purpose for *assault rifles?*
-
2) There are measures in place for criminal background checks and mental health screening of drivers. So your comparison is awful.

you’re missing the point. With the lenient open carry laws in Texas, there should’ve been a “good guy with a gun” to stop the shooter as far as NRA logic goes

The shooter was stopped by a citizen with a rifle. Would you like to have disarmed him? Spoiler alert: criminals don't follow laws.
-
So why have drunk driving laws and speed limits?

Open carry laws have no correlation to mass shootings. NRA sucks but lib points like these are just ugh...
-
Yeah, that's the point. Conservative (lib) talking point says open carry = solution to mass shootings.
-
I was more referring to the lib talking point that there is a correlation at all....
-
word word, yeah I agree. There isn't.
-
I also meant that the article quoted also had literally nothing to do with mass shootings, and didn't even use that dumb pro open argument..
-
Yeah, I didn't even read the article.
