Because even Good White People have unearned privilege. And it's people of color who pay the cost for your admission to an easier life.

As a Korean adopted by white people, I can say, skin color like gender is something that just happens to you and is of no real consequence.

The fact that white people have used their race for an advantage, and that you're griping about it, says something about people in general.

People will take a quality they posses, and tell people that don't posses it that they are somehow inferior, to feel special.
