In 2002, the
@CAPublicHealth found that a gun range worker had DEADLY lead poisoning. It didn't refer the case for an inspection. Shameful.1 reply 1 retweet 4 likes -

In 2012, someone told
@TheCityofSac the gun range was venting indoor (lead-filled) air outside to neighbors. The city didn't do anything.1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -
Sacramento finally closed the gun range in 2015. A sign read the range was "temporarily closed." Didn't even mention lead at all.

The city finally did testing in 2016. The gun range's entire perimeter is contaminated with lead. There are houses right across the street.

There's more. The
@CaliforniaDTSC agent is on video telling gun range neighbors, "I would not be concerned with living across the street."1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Sacramento's parks director literally told neighbors, "I'm gonna fix this," adding that "lead is not plutonium." Ok but it's deadly.

He didn't "fix this." Sacramento finally tested soil, found 12 homes are basically poisoned -- but hasn't shared the results with neighbors!

@JoeRubinCreates shared the results with Sandra Levario, a grandmother whose grandchildren play in that soil.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Sandra Levario gardens in poisoned soil. Her grandkids play in it. One of her grandkids is diagnosed with ADHD....

ADHD is linked to lead exposure. Sandra Levario has always wanted to protect her grandkids. Lead contamination makes it hard to do that.

City of Sacramento, California's Department of Public Health, California's Department of Toxic Substances Control: all complicit in this.
