When you're talking about more than one tribal nation, it's indigenous peoples. There's an s at the end. That s is very important.

I'm not sure what I expected after the third time. Being that they're journalists, I supposed they would at least care about proper grammar.

It's especially ironic: English isn't my first language, editors at my last job would sometimes poke fun at my English/say it wasn't good.

Anyway, I saw an RT from my last job. Sure enough, they went with "indigenous people" in a headline. Might as well read: "we dgaf."
