What is QUESO to you? Describe it. (Please don't look it up. Either answer the first thing that comes to mind or don't answer at all.)

wait there's more! @HumanHouseCat points out they think of two different foods for queso depending on what language is being spoken/written
-
I was just gonna say, when I first read your question my response was to ask, "in what context?"
-
because I see "queso" and for me that means two different things.

I just heard this last week for the first time! To me it's just the Spanish word for cheese - any kind.

it's a texas thing... for me, it means cheese of any kind, but usually white (fresco or quesadilla)...
-
and that tx stuff is usually pronounced "kay-so" or something like that...

I found that out two yrs ago when I went to this BAD Texas themed restaurant in Hell's Kitchen w a friend from Houston.
-
it was badly made. Friend said (of course) much better in the sw. I felt too gluttonous eating it :/
