People not in L.A.: Hard to convey intensity of terror so many of our fellow Angelenos of Central American and Mexican origin feel today.

LA has (very much on purpose and also because of its history) become synonymous with people from one Latin American country. I get it.
-
But erasing people from other countries, especially at this time, isn't helpful. There are people from El Salvador, and Peru, and more.
-
Additionally, there are latinxs here that were born here, but have family members that were born elsewhere. They're also scared shitless rn.

I say this as an immigrant from an inconvenient-for-the-pop-narrative country, in a mixed status family that knows about disappearances.

Please don't erase us. Thanks.
