Three weeks ago, on Trump's first full day in office, I was laid off from my job. The only immigrant there. Only writer of color on staff.

I'm enjoying freelancing. Been able to work with some *really* amazing editors, and am proud of what I've published in last few weeks.

But I'm really worried I'm about my ability/my family's ability to survive in the longterm. I'm still looking for contract, PT, or FT work.
