Delaware prison tho

A second call from the
#Delaware prison explains the reason for their rebellion: "Donald Trump [and] all the things that he’s doing now." -
Plot twist. Donald Trump is making a surprise visit to Delaware.

Seems a lot of people don't think prisoners deserve reform and rehabilitation. I think that says a lot about people on the outside.
-
Where do you draw the line? Is repeated rape acceptable? What about rotten food? Are you ok with that? If so, when?
-
There's also the "WELL HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT RAPISTS?" knee jerk response. My answer? Most of the rapists are already on the outside.
-
It's as if we magically suspend all the numbers about criminalization and think all the "bad" people are in prison. No nuance.

- Why is it unethical?
-
Sigh. It should seem obvious, but I guess it's not? Journalists are expected to minimize harm.
@sandratrevino -
In this particular case, a hostage whose life is at stake told the reporter he was not allowed to give out his name.
@sandratrevino -
The person is being held hostage. We can assume this is a very stressful situation. Why ask his name again?
@sandratrevino -
What if the prisoner hostage is so stressed out he gives his name the second time? What are consequences? Will he be killed?
@sandratrevino -
Why even entertain this risk? Like I said, prisoners are still human beings.

I think you should think before you question the ethics of a reporter you don't know, in a situation you've never been in.
