I've only been to the @BadlandsNPS twice. Both times with Lakota friends. I got a lot of love for National Parks. A critical kind of love.

National Parks only exist because of the dispossession of indigenous land. No way around that. I just wish that were more recognized.

Then again, it's not just National Parks, but all of the US. As I've asked before, do you know the history of the place you call "home"?

But like I said, I got a lot of love for National Parks. I've always got a yearly pass for my favorite,

National Parks are under attack by the Trump Empire. Their mere digital presence is a threat now. So I just wanna shower the NPS with love.

I'm critical about the way NPS was formed, lands it took, parks it segregated, the fact that staff is still almost all-white. But dang.

I've also spent a lot of time in National Parks and have had the opportunity to visit a lot of them. 24 in total, I think.

But I believe that we can love critically. That we're complex as humans and that we understand nuance. So show the National Parks some love.

You don't need to respond on this thread, but tweet about your favorite National Park. Or the NP you really wanna get to one day.

I *really* wanna get to
