It's also bizarre to get this directive. You're basically saying, "we want you, but only in the box we made for you."

The biggest disappointment, however, is two-fold. First, it suggests that the working class is white. We're not.

I know hella poor folks. It's 2016 already. Let's be clear that people of color can be, and often are, working class.

The other part that's most disappointing: your message suspends blame from the rich whites that keep the working class poor.
